Siam Fibreboard achieves higher capacity, better quality and reduced resin consumption with PressBooster
Siam Fibreboard Co., Ltd. has officially signed the final acceptance of two PressBooster systems, successfully concluding a project that began with the order placement in November 2025.
The first PressBooster was successfully started up in April 2026, followed by the second unit on the thin board, high speed line in June 2026. Both systems have demonstrated stable operation and achieved the agreed performance targets, leading to the customer’s final acceptance.
The PressBooster system utilizes steam heating of the fibre mat prior to pressing, enabling increased production capacity while improving board quality. An additional benefit is reduced resin consumption, helping lower production costs while maintaining high board quality.
