PressBooster G4

Forming & mat pre-heating

PressBooster Generation 4 – industrial intelligence with focus on performance, quality and easy maintenance. The PressBooster Generation 4 is a mat pre-heating system designed to boost production capacity by increasing mat temperature before it enters the press. By injecting steam directly into the mat, the system enables higher press speeds and significantly enhances overall plant efficiency.

  • Capacity increase by 10–30%, depending on board thickness
  • Easy installation by upgrading the existing conveyor
  • Dual belt cleaning system for superior performance
  • Improved board surface smoothness and physical properties
  • 40% shorter – one of the most compact design on the market
Capacity increase

Description

Our PressBooster Generation 4 features a more compact design – 40% shorter than previous versions, making it compatible with all major infeed conveyor brands. The streamlined structure ensures easy access to all components, simplifying maintenance and minimizing downtime. PressBooster Generation 4 offers market-leading energy efficiency thanks to its Direct Steam Technology (DST) and compact installation directly in front of the press, reducing heat loss and improving process performance.

The PressBooster is designed to inject condensate-free steam, eliminating the risk of condensate marks on the board surface. Keeping the wire clean and dry is critical for optimal steam injection efficiency, achieved through a high-performance cleaning system that combines hot air, air knives, and a rotating brush.

Installation is fast and can be completed during a short production stop. When combined with our EVOfuge 360 steam saving system, total energy efficiency improves further, as steam recovered from refining exceeds the PressBooster’s own steam consumption.
